UVM launches new degree to fast-track career changes into nursing

A new program at the University of Vermont will fast-track career changers into the nursing profession.

UVM says the new nursing degree will help tackle the statewide nursing shortage.

The new direct-entry nursing master’s program is designed for students who hold bachelor’s degrees in fields other than nursing and offers an accelerated path for those with non-nursing backgrounds to enter the profession.
