VAHHS will be joined by several hospital leaders to brief the media on FY24 hospital budgets in advance of the Green Mountain Care Board’s annual budget review hearings. VAHHS is calling this year’s filings “recovery budgets,” as hospitals seek to manage ongoing and significant financial losses due to workforce shortages, lack of long-term care and mental health services, delayed infrastructure improvements and ongoing inflationary pressures.
